InterVarsity Chapter Camp
May 7-11
What is camp? Chapter camp is always held the week after finals end. As a fellowship, we travel to beautiful Lake Champion, a Young Life camp in New York, to fellowship, study scripture, play, and generally unwind from a long semester. Anyone can come - your friends in other fellowships, your friends who might want to connect to a fellowship, your friends who are vaguely interested in studying the Bible...
When are we going? We'll leave the afternoon of May 7, the last day of finals, and return the afternoon of Saturday, May 11. Unless you are a senior, in which case you'll return to Penn Friday night. If you have an evening final on May 7, we'll be organizing a late car.
What are we studying this year? We'll be studying the book of Acts, since it's the sequel to Luke, the book we've spent a lot of this year studying. We'll be focusing on the parts of Acts that demonstrate living out faith in community. Shannon Lamb, IV area director for Philadelphia, will be teaching us. She is an excellent manuscript study leader and many of you already know her since she's given talks at Penn before.
Sounds great. But how much does it cost? The cost for camp is $240 if you sign up before April 30th; $50 deposit required at time of registration. Expensive, yes, but Champion is a great venue AND there's plenty of scholarship money. Email Ellen at ellen.n.williams@gmail.com
Ok, you've convinced me. How do I sign up? Visit: https://www.gracefultools.com/Camp2013/week1-Penn

URBANA 2012
Some Penn IV members attended Urbana, a 5 day retreat during Christmas break where literally tens of thousands of university/IV associated people come to learn more about the mission field this winter break! Make sure to ask them how amazing it was!
